whaddya know

so i thought after landing myself a full time job i could say good riddance to late nights of studying for exams. but whaddya know- i have an exam tomorrow.

and if i don't pass then i don't get promoted (and unfortunately here at bloomberg, even with promotion/moved around to different roles you don't get a pay rise instantaneously. the money comes every 6mth/1 year so too bad if you got promoted just after that point coz then you'd have to wait a couple of months before any increase in salary). so back to the point- it's that i am actually in the office trying to study and i hope i get a good enough grade tomorrow.

this is so reminiscent of my last days in AA when i would blog two hours before my exam because there was no one to complain to and for some reason ranting to a silent screen relaxes my nerves a little.

and by some uncanny coincidence- i am going with my colleagues tomorrow night to have some fabulous sushi- just like in those good AA days when i would treat myself to rolls at totoro after a stressful night before.

wish me luck guys- i need to memorize formulas for accrued interest??? oh how i was deceived when i thought i had joined a media company!!!
