what a wonderful world

this weekend was blissful. no plans no agenda, just me and my roomie. we had peirogies and sauerkraut for brunch at veselka then walked to the west village where we stumbled upon a huge street market which reminded me of the AA summer art fair. lots of lemonade, street food and folksy-finds. hang and i went crazy over finger puppets and we bought 11. (not that we can't count the number of fingers we have--you'll see where they come into use soon enough ;p.)
oh god i just realized how terrible the above parenthesized sounds. just to clear the air, hang and i are FINALLY embarking on our serious kitsch T business. finger puppets are to embellish our t-shirts. what were you thinking!!!
we had tv dinner two nights in a row- again, because we are so damn posh, we had comte with fig jam and ciabatta, spinach artichoke dip my favourite thing from whole foods and to top off the poshness we bought a bottle of moscato from a spirit shop (17.99- not a cheap habit eh!) haha. on saturday night we watched sideways which was disappointing because how could that movie have won an oscar for best screenplay??? it wasn't even very funny.
we then proceeded to watch napoleon dynamite which was deadpan-type funny. i wouldn't have laughed so much if not for the alcohol probably.
dvd junkies that we are, we rented three more on sunday night again to watch over dinner. this time suicide club. it was freaky and psychotic and we had to expel that nausea by watching vh1 top 100 hot chicks after.
anyway, our task for the week: a name for our t-shirt brand
